I did not like Man of Steel

I think it was a bad movie in general, and a bad depiction of Superman
that said, I like what they were trying to do

ever since I grew out of my troubled teens, I've taken more to lighter super hero fare

so the Marvel movies have basically always been my cup of tea

quips are where I feel at home

but after re-reading The Dark Knight Returns (review here) for the first time in over a decade, I can concede that there is a place yet for darker stories in that medium

I don't trust DC and Zack Snyder to be the ones to do it, but I'm willing to hear their pitch
