I actually think David Goyer makes a decent case herebut therein lies one of the big problems with Man of Steel
take Superman aside, and it's an ok action flick
but that movie uses Superman in a way that does not fit the character
I don't disagree that the way he lays it out, that story makes sense
but make a Hyperion movie or something with that plot
it's so un-Superman that I have a hard time comprehending how it got out that way
but that new Punisher romcom? Gonna be AWESOME
